Sprawling Education

The struggles of Detroit are hardly a well kept secret; neither is the plight of Detroit Public Schools.  As the white flight of the 60's led to the black flight of the past several years, a new phenomenon of student flight has continued to siphon off more of Detroit's people to the suburbs.  Sprawling Education looks at the motivation behind the movement of students from the city to the 'burbs, and the impact that such a migration is making throughout the region.
